Thanks Airicka for joining me today!!  I’m going to ask you some wacky questions!!

It is wonderful to be here, Lila! Thank you so much for having me! And fire away!

1.       What’s on your desk right now?

On the left, I have my basket of notes, binders, papers, research books. On the right, I have my crafts, bookmark maker machine, laminator, art supplies, basket of pens and other writing items. It is cluttered in an organized manner.

2.       Favorite writing time snack?

I don’t really have one. I’ll munch on whatever is near by.

               

3.       What’s your go to book for comfort?

Probably Harry Potter, because I grew up with that series and it reminds me of my childhood.

4.       Summer or Winter and why?

Summer, because winters are cold, wet and take ages to go away.

5.       Favorite kind of cake?

Chocolate, triple chocolate if you REALLY love me.

6.       Heater or fireplace?

Fireplace. I love the crackle of flames and the smell of smoked wood.

7.       Dryer sheets or fabric softener?

Hubby does the laundry… but I like softener better.

8.       Jelly or Jam?

Jam. Never been much for jelly.

9.       How do you pick the names for your characters?

With great care! I am so picky when it comes to my writing. I have to control every aspect of it, but with names, it’s even worse. I will spend days picking a name or title. Each name has to match the book, the characters and the plot. I won’t write a thing until I have those the perfect character names and the perfect title.

I skated behind the team and had almost made it to the edge when a body slammed me from behind propelling me into someone else.  Then instead of immediately recovering, I ducked  my head because out of nowhere my team was on the perpetrator before she could get away.  The fight didn’t last long and no one wanted to get in trouble so it was broken up fairly quickly.

                “Are you ok?” A very masculine, low voice said and the sound hummed against my face, which meant…

                “Oh, sorry,” I said as I scrambled to get my face away from his chest. 

                “Are you ok?” he repeated himself.

                “Look, I…” It was him, the gum guy.  I had been pummeled right into the chest of the guy that I had been fantasizing about for a freakin’ week now.  What are the odds?

                “Damn Owen, looks like a shitload of cotton candy just fell into your lap.”

                He did not just say my hair looks like cotton candy.

                I gave him my meanest glare. “Real original, douche bag.”
